Past-President, Bobette Reeder,
has been a professional Coach since 1995. Bobette
was among the first coaches to receive the distinction of ICF
Master Certified Coach. She also holds a Masters Degree
in Communications Disorders. Bobette
received her coach specific training at CoachU where she has
been a senior trainer and is a Certified Mentor Coach
and Coach U Certified Master Coach. Her clientele has
included a wide range of individuals from CEO's to homemakers,
senior coaches to "newbies", members of the clergy
to a tennis pro in the Netherlands-Antilles, the National Motorcycle
Racing champion of Spain, small business owners to exciting
corporate refugees and beyond. Her coaching voice has been heard
by well over a hundred fifty clients in 29 U.S. states and 10
other countries. She has coached in both individual and group
settings. Bobette's experience
in serving the ICF has also been extensive and varied. She was
the first ICF Outreach Coordinator, in charge of creating
and developing new chapters worldwide and was privileged to
be a part of the growth from two chapters to 130+ before leaving
that post to become the '98 Secretary, '99 Vice President,
'00 President-elect and '02 ICF President. She
has also served as ICF Conference Co-chair
for the past 4 years and is the creator and presently serving
as co-facilitator of the ICF Global Forum. She is also
active as Partner for Serendipitous Events; Co-Host
and Co-Producer of the first invitation-only event for Master
level Coaches: "A

In August 2006, she attended the invitation-only "Evolving
the Conversation" - A Summit on the future of Coaching
(Vancouver). Bobette
has been married for 34 years and has two adult children and
a beloved family dog. In her personal life she has been President
of Miami Children's Hospital Foundation Community Council
and on the Board of the Greater Miami Wellness Community,
a support facility for cancer patients. Her style both personally
and professionally is all about having fun and seeking the positive
side and opportunity in everything life brings.

How I Work With Clients:
I
partner with my clients in a collaborative relationship to
create the life they envision for themselves. We usually begin
by looking at WHO they are, and we work to discover their
needs, values, and delights! From there, clients begin to
design where they want to be, what they want their life to
look like. We then work backward...strategizing and deciding
what the very first step will be. The accountability and support
of a coach allows them to move forward and take continuous
action where they had been stuck. For the most part, I have
more faith in my clients than they have in themselves!
